Fred Wagner An American Painter 1860-1940 - Cyndy Drue and Susan Brendlinger Smith

Fred Wagner's impressionist paintings are found in some of the finest museums, galleries, and private collections in America. Two sisters went on a decade-long mission to find out all they could about their great-grand uncle, Fred Wagner, in this long overdue biography.

What they created is the most comprehensive collection of paintings ever assembled in one place, along with remarks from people who knew him, a chronology, an exhibitions list, and an essay on his artistic style by Walter Robinson, editor-in-chief of artnet.com.

Researchers, art students, collectors, artists, and the art community will find this book an excellent resource to further know Fred Wagner.
